Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff are concluding their trip to France today. They are engaging French leaders and other foreign officials in discussions to end the war in Ukraine.
Envoy Witkoff met with Ukrainian presidential advisor Andrii Yermak and ministers from France, the United Kingdom, and Germany on Thursday
President Donald Trump has advocated for a comprehensive ceasefire, which Ukraine has endorsed. Russia has rejected the proposal unless Ukraine stops receiving arms assistance and ceases military mobilization, to which Ukraine objects.
